In one of her recent interviews, Sunny Leone had said that she wasn’t emotionally prepared to go ahead with the plan of making her life story for the world to see, through a biopic – Karenjit Kaur – The Untold Story. She was worried if she would like to recall all the bad, ugly, challenging moments and live them once again while telling her story. And that’s what happened! When she started shooting, she realised how difficult it can be. However, it seems the woman has made up her mind and is now mentally stronger about it all. She is set to head to South Africa to start shooting Karenjit Kaur – The Untold Story of Sunny Leone.

The actress calls 2018 one of the best years of her life. She brought home two joys this year – after adopting a baby girl Nisha Kaur last year. She and husband Daniel Weber welcomed their twins Noah and Asher through surrogacy and have now completed their little family of five. Talking about how the year 2018 has been a blessing so far, Sunny said, “It has been a very hectic year for me and that is exactly what I had been looking for. This is one of the best year of my life. I am currently heading to South Africa for the shoot of my biopic, and all excited to reunite with the team there.”

What is also keeping Sunny on her toes is her makeup range, Star Struck by Sunny Leone, which she recently launched. Coming back to her biopic, Karenjit Kaur – The Untold Story Of Sunny Leone will stream on OTT platform ZEE5 and revolve around the actress’ journey. It will trace her life from being a little girl, born as Karenjit Kaur into a middle class Sikh family in Canada, to becoming an adult film actress and her tryst with Bollywood, the judgments and treatment she received initially to gaining support and carving her own niche in Hindi films.

Apart from this, she is also slated to maker her Telugu debut with director VC Vadivudaiyan’s Veeramahadevi which is a historical magnum opus. The film will also release in Tamil and Malayalam.
