Nagpur: The “Summer Camp with a difference” was held at Happy Feet Preschool, Clarke Town, Nagpur. The response was overwhelming! Within hours of announcing the summer camp, the school enrolled more than 55 kids.

Parents, while giving their feedback, confessed that they were drawn to our out-of-the-box ideas, such as mini-workshops and activities around the concept of screen de-addiction, fun-and-fitness, social graces, and etiquette for all occasions. The school’s vision involved inculcating and regenerating fundamental values, life skills and discipline, through fun and games.

The activities included yoga, shlokas, meditation, prayers, fun and fitness, Zumba and dance, music and movement, little chefs at work, creative crafts, innovative articles, outdoor activities like racing, balancing beam, obstacle course, treasure hunt, parachute play, hoopla ring activities, gardening and every kid’s favourite sport – pool play. The school also introduced the kids to role plays and dramatics, pretend play, shadow play and puppet shows, comprehension and communication skills.

The highlight of the camp was an exhibition of art and craft articles made by the kids and the final presentation of Zumba and Dance on the last day of the camp.

The grand finale included a brilliant skit on health, fitness, and screen de-addiction, presented by the talented participants. Mom and Baby Zumba, Games and Selfie Corners were the other exciting events organised on the last day of the camp.

The parents were amazed to see their kids mingling joyfully with others, speaking up with confidence, carrying themselves with grace and poise. They were overjoyed to see the phenomenal growth that a well-conceived and conducted camp had brought about in their little gems!
