Nagpur: The schools in Nagpur district and Vidarbha region will re-open on July 1 after summer vacations. Deputy Director (Education) Ulhas Narad has sent a letter in this regard to all Education Officers and asked them to start the new academic session from July 1, a media report said.

The summer vacations started on May 1. Earlier, it was decided that all the schools would re-open on June 15.

But then the issue of summer heat in Vidarbha was taken into account and it was decided that the schools should start from June 30. Since June 30 falls on Sunday, the authorities have decided to re-open the schools in the region on July 1.
