Nagpur: In continuation of the students’ developmental activities every year in YCCE, and view a view to make students feel responsible to carry out their social as well as entrepreneurial responsibilities, the Students’ Council of YCCE’s Entrepreneurship Development Cell has been set up.
Accordingly, in the new body, Akshay Bhongale has been installed as the president of the YCCE’s Entrepreneurship Development Cell for the year 2015-16 at a function held at Electronics Conference hall, YCCE campus.
Mehul Parekh, Director of Alacrity E – commerce solutions Pvt. Ltd. Nagpur, was the chief guest of the function while principal Dr.U.P.Waghe presided over the function. Vibha Parekh, Gurleen Singh, Jayant Gedam, Motivational Speaker from Mera Talent Nagpur, Dr. P. K. Dakhole, Registrar, YCCE, Kavita Singh, Head, Computer Technology Department, Neeraj Wakhare, Training and Placement Officer, YCCE were among the other guests prominently present on this occasion.
Aniket Munshi, Faculty In – charge, YEDC welcomed the gathering through his welcome speech. Speaking on the occasion Mehul Parekh said that to be a successful entrepreneur one needs to try and keep working hard till he reaches his goal. He defined an entrepreneur as a person who creates opportunities for others to be successful. The principal also guided students and encouraged them to participate more and grab opportunities. Jayat Gedam ,trainer at ‘Mera talent’ delivered a motivational guest lecture on entrepreneurship as a career.
The new team installed is Akshay Bhongale – president, Sampada Joshi-vice president, Madhura Puradbhat- Secretary, Ashwarya Lanjewar-treasurer.
The programme received an overwhelming response and almost students of YCCE participated in it.
Akanksha Tirpude conducted the proceedings while Akshay Bhongale proposed a formal vote of thanks.
