Students awaiting mark sheets even after RTMNU declaring results one month ago

Nagpur News

Even though the Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) has declared the summer 2014 results of various courses, mark sheets of many of the exams have not yet been issued. Even after one month has passed since results were declared the students are still awaiting to receive their original mark sheets. Students had to rely on the mark sheet copy for taking admissions in the next class.

RTMNU claims to declare results in 45 days but this delay in issuing the mark sheet is beyond imagination of students. PROMARC is looking after the data entry work after MKCL had stopped the same work. However, the work of PROMARC is going on at a very slow pace.
After taking over the charge of Controller of Examination, Dr. Shrikant Komawar had asked the examination section to work more harder, avoid delay in work and to pursue on image rebuilding of the examination section which had of late been dented by late results and other related works.
Students running from pillar to post for paying college fees:
Out of many courses available in RTMNU, most of them have their departments in Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Campus, Amravati Road and other many departments are located in Ramdaspeth, Law College square and Dighori areas. The students of the departments which are located outside Campus go through a lot of ordeal for paying for college fees. These students have to come down to Campus to pay their fees. Not only that even for college prospectus fees which is Rs 50, students need to go to Campus to take the receipt. These departments do not have accounts section. But this travelling from their college to Campus certainly makes them lose their time and money.
