Nagpur News: The members of Akhil Bharatiya Vidarbha Parishad (ABVP) created drama in Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) before the presentation of RTMNU budget and senate meeting that was scheduled on Saturday. The activists of ABVP raised slogans against RTMNU and protested the postponing of 48 examinations. It is to be noted that on Saturday, Dr Babanrao Taywade would propose the budget for the year 2013-14 of the RTMNU. But, the activists of ABVP started raising slogans against RTMNU and also damaged Government property in the area. They forcefully entered the University hall and broke chairs and tables kept in the hall. Earlier, they raised slogans delaying to declare the dates for examination and then entered University hall demanding immediate declaration of examination dates.
Police controlled the situation and arrested a few activists for creating ruckus in University premises. The senate meeting was resumed when the report was being filed
