A 16-year-old standard XII science student committed suicide by hanging himself at his rented residence at Babulkheda in Ajni police station area on Sunday night. Ashish Upadhyay from Gujarat was staying in city from last two years.
Though he blamed no one responsible for his suicide in the suicide note, his cousins who would share room with him told police that he was depressed after his love affair went wrong.

In the note, Ashish mentioned that there is no reason behind his extreme step. He wrote that he had no depression either of any studies or affair. After the few lines for his parents to forgive him, at the end, he wrote that the police should not waste their time in investigating his case. Ajni police has registered a case of an accidental death.
