Nagpur: The Board on Thursday have announced the examination time-table of HSSC-SSC board examinatio 2016. The SSC examinations will begin from March-1 and will conclude on March 29.
The Maharshtra State Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board has changed the pattern of Science subject paper for class X board examination. Now onwards, the Science & Technology paper will be conducted in two parts that is Science Part-1 and Science Part-2 of 40-40 marks each. Earlier, there used to be only one Science Technology paper of 80 marks.
It may be mentioned here that from the academic session 2013-14, a new syllabus was implemented in SSC. However, students were facing problem particularly in Science & Technology paper due to the vast and tough curriculum. This subject was proving to be killer in the board examination.
Many of the parents and teachers had also been demanding to make this simple by dividing it into two parts. This demand of the teachers have been approved by the education board, as it has in its SSC board examination time table have mentioned two science paper dates.
The examination of Science part-1 will be held on March 12, 2016, while the examination of Science part-2 will be held on March 15. 2016.
Science subject teacher of Islamiya High School & Junior College Abdul Jamani opined that the present curriculum of Science & Technology paper was very tough.Compared to other subjects the question paper of this subject is also very tough. The separating of this subject into two parts will be beneficial to the students.
