SpiceJet Airline Set to Launch 6 Flights From October

New Delhi: Budget passenger carrier SpiceJet on Wednesday announced its decision to launch six new daily direct flights on domestic as well as international routes from the month of October.

The airline reportedly stated, “SpiceJet is the first airline in the country to introduce a daily direct flight on the Guwahati-Patna route.” As per the statement, “The airline is also introducing daily direct flights on the domestic sector of Hyderabad-Guwahati and the international route of Hyderabad-Bangkok.”

According to the company, the domestic routes costs Rs 3,099 and the inaugural fare of the international route of Hyderabad-Bangkok which includes the “to and fro journey” costs Rs 9,999 and Rs 8,299, respectively.

Among the international routes, SpiceJet is likely to start a new daily direct flight on the Hyderabad-Bangkok route from October 10, stated the airline. The Gurgaon-based airline claimed that the daily direct flight launched by SpiceJet on the Guwahati-Patna route is the first of its kind. Daily direct flights along the Hyderabad-Guwahati route is also introduced by the company.

The company is planning to set up Boeing 737s along the routes of the new planes. This would help establish network connectivity between metros and non-metros.
