Sonam Kapoor, who will be next seen in Veere Di Wedding, a film set against the backdrop of a wedding, will reportedly tie the knot with beau Anand Ahuja in the first week of May and we have the details of the event…
From what we have heard, Sonam will have a two-day wedding ceremony on May 7 and 8 in Mumbai itself and that the wedding celebrations will kick-start with sangeet and mehendi night to be hosted at luxurious venue at BKC. We have also learned that choreographer-filmmaker Farah Khan is overseeing the dance performances and apart from the immediate family, Karan Johar is also expected to be the star performer of the night. Anand’s side of the family is reportedly flying down to Mumbai from the US, London and Delhi for the wedding functions.
A source claims that the Kapoor family has zeroed in on Sunita Kapoor’s sister Kavita Singh’s heritage bungalow in Bandstand as the venue of the wedding. Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor are expected to host reception for over 300 people at a suburban hotel in Mumbai.
Sonam will share screen space with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania in Veere Di Wedding. The trailer of the film is expected to come out on April 25th.
