Nagpur: Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojna was inauguarated at Priyadarshini Institute of Engineering and Technology
run by Lokmanya Tilak Jankalyan Shikshan Sanstha.Under this scheme free vocational training courses have been started in the Institute. The Chief Guest of the function were Principal Dr.Vivek Nanoti. Other dignataries Vice-Principal Dr. G.M. Asuktar, Incharge PMKVY Dr. Waheed Deshmukh, Dr. S.B. Deshpande, Dr. Rakesh Himte, Dr. Sameer Deshmukh, Dr. Prakash Prasad, Dr. Sumita Rao, Amit Manapure, Prof. Ashish Sambare, Prof. Dabhade were prominently present for the inauguaration.
While addressing the program Dr. Asutkar emphasized that it is the need of the hour to acquire vocational skills.He also gave information about PMKVY. He mentioned in his speech how this scheme is benefited for the needy and unemployed youths of the society. Dr. Waheed Deshmukh Incharge of this scheme informed the audience about the various vocational courses like Junior Mechanics, Computer Peripherals, Electronics that would be conducted in PIET under this scheme.
For the success of the program Prof. Deepak Kapgate, Prof. Namrata Khade, Prof. Ketan Bodhe, Prof. Vithalkar, Prof. Moharkar, Prof. Awais worked hard. The program was compered by Prof. Pallavi Zungare and Vote of thanks was proposed by Prof. Bodhe.
