Six men commit a fraud, cheat, rob customers in name of Bajaj Alliance Insurance Company

fraud-logoNagpur News: Sadar police have booked six persons on the charges of fraud, cheating and looting.

According to police, the accused persons Mamaji, Patil, Ajay Waghmare, Pravin Deshbhratar, Aman and Ishwar Bhide conspired and in a well-planned actions prepared bogus life insurance policies in the name of Bajaj Alliance General Insurance Company Limited located at Third Floor, Shriram Towers in Sadar. The accused persons created fake seals of the Insurance Company and signed the policy documents as of officials of the Company. The accused persons then handed over the policies to large number of customers  by showing the fake policies as authentic and genuine and recovered thousands from them.

However, the accused persons’ fraudulent means got exposed when one of the customers visited the office of the Bajaj Alliance General Insurance Company Limited. The Branch Manager of the Insurance Company Ram Dnyaneshwar Pathare (33), resident of 702, Utkarsh Anuradha Apartment, Nagpur,  then lodged a complaint with Sadar police. The Sadar PSI Jadhav booked the accused persons Mamaji, Patil, Ajay Waghmare, Pravin Deshbhratar, Aman and Ishwar Bhide under Sections of 420, 464, 467, 421 of the IPC and is probing the matter further.
