Six arrested in counter case

Nagpur News : In a dramatic incidence, Gittikhadan police arrested six people in counter case on Wednesday night.

According to information, Chandrakala Mukundrao Sarode (48), a resident in front of Pratibha High School, Siraspeth was going back home with her son Kunal Sarode (27) in their Tata Sumo car. Sheikh Rafiq Sheikh Majid (34), a resident of Mankapur; Sheikh Shakil Sheikh Taluq Hussain (31), a resident of Narasala, Dighori; Mustaq Musaffar Ali (60), a resident of Mankapur and three others stopped them. The accused pulled Kunal out and beat ‘balck and blue’, damaged the sumo and threatened him to kill. When the goons left, Chandrakala and Kunal lodged a complaint against the accused in Nandanvan Police Station. Cops registered an offence under Sections 143, 147, 341, 323, 294, 427, 506 (b) of the IPC and arrested Sheikh Rafiq Sheikh Majid, Sheikh Shakil Sheikh Taluq Hussain and Mustaq Musaffar Ali.

Now, the incident took dramatic turn when it was discovered that earlier, Sheikh Rafiq Sheikh Majid who owns a tours and travels business had lodged complaint against Chandrakala sarode, Kunal Sarode, Rahul Dinkar Dhomne (28), a resident of Siraspeth and Sandesh Avchat (27). According to information, Kunal, Chandrakal, Rahul and Sandesh dashed their Tata Sumo (MH 31 CA 3444) with Indica Vista car of Sheikh Rafiq Sheikh Majid. He tried to stop them but they escaped. He then lodged a complaint with Nandanvan Police against them. Cops registered an offence under Sections 279, 323, 294, 506 (b), 427 and 34 of the IPC.

But, enraged Rafiq decided to sort the matter in his own ways. He gathered his friends and then attacked Kunal and his mother Chandrakala later at night.

PI Chakshupal Bahadure informed that Kunal, Chandrakala, Rahul have been arrested and a PSI Pande is investigating the case.
