Sinhgad Maharashtra News : College teachers make mercy killing request

Pune: 250 teachers from Sinhgad college has written to governor Vidyasagar Rao seeking permission for mercy killing. These teachers are unpaid from the last six months and were suddenly sacked after they protested against it.

Sinhgad college administration sacked these teachers on Wednesday without any prior notice.

The teachers had previously launched a protest demanding their unpaid salary of the last six months. In order to curb this protest, the college administration sacked them on Wednesday.

The matter is in the court as of now and the agitated teachers have made a mercy killing request in a letter to governor Vidyasagar Rao.
