Nagpur: Sadar police have arrested Simransingh Tuli and his accomplice Navdeepsingh Ghotra, both sons of reputed businessmen, on the charges of outraging modesty of a woman and also beating her friend in the high-profile Hotel Tuli International on Saturday morning.
The awful incident took place when the complainant woman and her friend went to Sadar-based Hotel Tuli International around at 10.45 am on Saturday. After reaching the hotel, both entered the ballroom ‘Rhythm & Blu’ for dancing. While they were enjoying the dance, the accused Simransingh Lakhvindersingh Tuli (23), resident of Plot No. 1112, Mohan Bhavan, Buddha Nagar, Pachpaoli, pushed two of his unidentified accomplices on the dancing woman. When she objected to the act, the accused Simransingh came near her and touched her body in obscene manner.
At the same time, one of the accomplices of Simransingh named Navdeepsingh alias Swabi Balvindersingh Ghotra (27) of Baba Budhaji Nagar, Plot No. 55, Teka Naka, Panchpaoli, too came near the woman and danced very close to her and rubbed his body with that of the woman in vulgar manner. Upset with the lewd actions of both the accused Simransingh and Navdeepsingh, the friend of the victimized woman intervened and tried save her from the awful situation. This enraged the two accused who then resorted to thrashing him severely. The bewildered woman and her friend later registered a case at Sadar Police Station against the two accused.

Based on the complaint, PSI Varfade booked the accused Simransingh Tuli and Navdeepsingh Ghotra under Sections 354(A), 323, 506 of IPC and put them behind the bars.
