Shrinabh Agrawal tops city in ICSE exam

Nagpur: The results of 10th and 12th standard examinations conducted by Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (ICSE) were declared on Tuesday. Shrinabh Agrawal, a 10th standard student of Chandadevi Saraf School, Katol Road emerged the city topper scoring 99.2 per cent marks.

Talking to Nagpur Today, Shrinabh said he was very happy with the result. “Never had I thought that I would secure India rank 3 position,” he said. Daily studies, time management and mock test helped me a lot, revealed Shrinabh, who wants to become a researcher.

From other places, Juhi Rupesh Kajariya and Muktasar Bansar topped the 10th standard scoring 99.60 per cent. Similarly, Devang Swaminathan emerged the overall topper scoring 100 per cent marks in ICSE. The overall pass per cent of ICSE this year was 98.54, an increase of 0.03 per cent compared to last year.

The examination of ICSE began on February 4 and ended on March 25. This year too, girls out shun boys. While 98.54 per cent of students cleared the 10th standard examinations, 96.52 were successful in 12th standard exams.
