Going overboard and to score a point, the local unit of Shiv Sena held a function and inaugurated the ambitious Ram Jhula project in advance. The actual inauguration of Ram Jhula was to be held soon at the hands of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
Since the construction of the Ram Jhula is in last stages the date for its inauguration was yet to be fixed. Nagpurians are waiting since many years for throwing open the milestone project for traffic and the ‘wait was over’ when the impatient Shiv Sena activists inaugurated Ram Jhula even before the official announcement.
Interestingly, the Chief Minister Fadnavis is scheduled to open Ram Jhula for traffic soon. But to score a political point over the BJP Government in Maharashtra, the Shiv Sena activists stole the show.
