Keeping in mind the unseasonal rains, coming monsoon session that trigger spate of nallahs and rivers, the Chairman of Standing Committee Ramesh Shingare has directed the concerned officials to undertake cleaning of nallahs and rivers before May 31 (before onset of monsoon). There should not be a single complaint of the citizens, said Shingare while reviewing the work of cleaning in a meeting held at Civil Lines office of NMC on Monday.

The Ruling Party Leader Dayashankar Tiwari, Deputy Director (Health) Dr Milind Ganvir, Medical Officer Dr Dasarwar, and Ward Officers of all the 10 Zones were present at the meeting.

There are dozens of nallahs and rivers passing through several areas of city. While some are cleaned and rid of garbage, many are yet to be cleaned.
