Nagpur: Social Security Branch (SSB) of City Police on Sunday busted a sex racket at Lotus Service Apartment in Dhantoli area and rescued a girl. Acting on a tip-off, the police raided the apartment where accused Vaibhav alias Akash Vishnu Mankar (25), a resident of Friends colony, Nagbhid, District Chandrapur was operating sex racket.
The accused had given an advertisement on a website to lure customers. He was charging Rs 4,000 to every customer, the police said. The police have booked the accused under Sections 3, 4, 5 and 7 of Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act (PITA).
