Servant steals Teddy Bears worth Rs 3,98,308 from godown with the help of a duplicate key

Nagpur News: Pachpaoli police have arrested a servant of a man, dealing with the Teddy Bear business,  for stealing the toys worth Rs 3,98,308.

According to police, the servant Kailash Purushottam Narnavre (23), resident of Manepura Square, renter of Vinod Bevane, Nagpur, was working with Dharmendra Vilas Sharma (30), resident of Bhande Layout, behind Pride Bar, Nagpur. Dharmendra is in business of sale-purchase of Teddy Bear in all sizes. Dharmendra closed his godown located at Ranka Bhavan, Mahal, Nagpur and went home. His servant, Kailash, with the help of a duplicate key, opened the godown and decamped with 3671 Teddy Bears worth Rs 3,98,308 between 14.30 hours of 17-08-13 and 14-00 hours of 19-08-13. But the theft came to notice of Dharmendra on 21-08-10. Dharmendra lodged a complaint with Tehsil Police against Kailash. Police booked Kailash under Sections 454, 457,380, 408 of the IPC and arrested him. Further probe is being carried out by the Tehsil police.

In the second incident, burglars cleaned a house with gold and silver ornaments, a diamond-studded watch collectively worth Rs 1,13,000.
