Sensational Kamble-Double Murder Case in final stage in Nagpur, verdict is eagerly awaited

Nagpur: The Kamble double murder case, which shocked the nation in February 2018, is finally nearing its conclusion. The final arguments were made by both the government and the accused in the District and Sessions Court Nagpur, DJ 10 Mr. S. B. In Gawande’s court, and the public is eagerly awaiting the verdict.

The case involved the brutal killing of Ushabai Kamble and her one and a half-year-old daughter. A charge sheet was filed by ACP Bansod Kotwali after the investigation, which produced four accused. During the final arguments, the government presented 35 verified witnesses and evidence that the blood stains of the victims were found in the accused’s residence and car, which matched with Ushabai Kamble’s DNA in forensic tests.

The Special Public Prosecutor Mr. Ujwal Nikam argued that the accused conspired to kill the grandmother and granddaughter, cut their throats, and dispose of their bodies in a sack in a drain. However, the accused, Ankit Shahu, Gudiya Shahu, and Vidhi Sangharsh Balak, denied the charges and argued that the government’s evidence was false.

The plaintiff, Ravikant Kamble, was represented by Advocate Sameer Sonwane, while the accused were represented by Mr. R.M. Bhagwat and Advocate Anirudh Chandekar. Nayak Police Constable Harshdeep Khobragade acted as the writer in this case.
