Senior citizen duped of Rs 20 lakhs with fake documents for sale of plot

Nagpur: A senior citizen was duped of Rupees twenty lakhs on the pretext of sale of plot. The four accused are identified as Kishore Jamre aged 35 years, Nikhil Bhonsle aged 32 years and a resident of Mata Nagar Zingabai Takli, Deepak Kumar Rai aged 70 years and his wife Krishna Deepak Rai aged 65 years both residents of Chennai.

According to Police sources, Deepak Kumar Rai and his wife Krishna Deepak Rai had sold the plot to one Sudhakar Bansod aged 64 years posing as original owners of the plot. According to the victim Sudhakar Bansod, the accused had conned him of Rupees Twenty Lakhs for the purchase of the said plot.

Sudhakar Bansod in his complaint lodged with Gittikhadan Police Station claimed that he had entered into an agreement to purchase a plot sold by Akankshi Gruh Nirman Society situated at Mauza Dhaba, Pahan No 7, Seat No 254170, Survey No 217, Khasra No 35 and Plot No 176 and 177.

The accused had allegedly made counterfeit or fake documents which claimed the Rai couple as the original owners of the said plot. The formalities of sale and the purchase of the said plot were carried out in the residence of Nikhil Bhonsle.

When the purchaser victim realized that he has been duped and that the Rai couple was not the original owners of the said plot, he lodged a complaint with the Gittikhadan Police Station.

Gittikhadan Police Station has registered a case against the accused and is investigating further.
