VIA Taxation & Corporate Law Forum is organizing a programme “Discussion on Critical Issues under the Companies Act, 2013” by eminent and reknown CS Mukesh D. Parakh, on Wednesday, 6th August 2014 from 6:00 pm at VIA hall, Udyogh Bhawan, Civil Lines, Nagpur.

The Companies Act, 2013 has made drastic changes in the functioning of Private Limited and unlisted Public Companies. It is expected to change the mode & approach in which companies are governed and regulated in India. Many new compliance/restrictions have been introduced particularly with reference to acceptance of loans and deposits, issue of further shares, related party transactions, loans of directors and associate concerns, director report, etc. The new companies Act have also incorporated heavy penal consequences for default & failures. These changes have widened the regulations and mark a paradigm shift in India’s corporate law regime. The new Companies Act has far reaching implications for both domestic Indian companies and overseas investors with a presence in India. The non compliance attracts heavy penalty and so it important for all of us to understand the key implications of the New Companies Act.

Atul Pande, President – VIA, has appealed the industry & corporate to attend the above discussion in large number and take the advantage of the same. The programme is free of cost & open to all. Programme will be followed by Questions & Answers. Members / Public may send their queries on the topic at the VIA office in advance latest by 5th August 2014 so that the issue can be taken up in the meet.
