Nagpur: The Nagpur Division of South East Central Railway (SECR), with the aim of providing more and more facilities to all sections of passengers, has started a Battery-operated Car at Gondia Railway station in the service of Divyang, ailing and elderly persons. The car service was inaugurated by local MP Nanabhau Patole in the presence of Divisional Railway Manager Amit Kumar Agrawal and Chairman of Janata Sahakari Bank, Gondia, Dr Radheshyam Agrawal. Patole appreciated the grand gesture on the parts of SECR Administration and private organizations.
The Battery-operated Car has been made available by Janata Sahakari Bank, Gondia, so that the Divyang, ailing and elderly persons do not face difficulties in their movement at platforms during arrival and departure of trains.
Other dignitaries present on the occasion include Arjun Sibbal, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, A K Suryavanshi, Senior Divisional Engineer (East) and other officials, ZRUCC, DRUCC members, Railway and Janata Bank employees.
