School students cast votes to elect monitors

NAGPUR: In a unique initiative, Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Mahavidyalaya at Untkhana conducted polls to elect School and Class Monitors thus giving its students an opportunity to understand the entire electoral process.

The polls were conducted through ballot papers for Class V to X and all the students cast their votes to elect the monitors. The elections were held on the guidance of Principal Rajni Deshkar while the school teachers were appointed as election officers.

The results of the polls were declared the same day and Aditya Pradhan and Ranjana Badgole were elected as School Monitors.
