Nagpur : Nagpur Today: My fight is for the common people and for the pride of the people, it is for the overall development and the hardwork I have put in all this years, said Shekar Sawarbandhe, independent candidate from South Nagpur.
Sawarbandhe was addressing a public meet organized at Ayodhya Nagar. The meet saw hundreds of his supporters participating. Amidst huge cheers and slogans Sawarbandhe expressed confidence that people would repose faith in him. His work over all these years will speak for itself, during the polling day.
People from all walks of life gathered in the meet. Sawarbandhe assured people to resolve their issues if voted to power. Overall development right from roads, water to generation of employment opportunities will be his main agenda.
The meet got a huge response from the people, with many corporators , and his party workers joining him in huge numbers. People also assured of their support to him.
Famous Marathi cine star Nishigandha Waad also present during the meet. She appealed to the voters in the south assembly constituency to elect him with record votes.
