Sara Ali Khan, who was supposed to make her debut as an actress opposite Sushant Singh Rajput in Kedarnath, will be next seen opposite Ranveer Singh in Rohit Shetty’s masala entertainer Simmba and Shetty claims that Sara will match Ranveer’s craziness in the film.
Talking about Sara, Shetty said that like Ranveer, she is made for ‘hardcore masala entertainers’ and that he realized this on meeting her for the first time itself. Shetty added that Sara will match Ranveer’s craziness in the film as her character too is quite whacky like that of Singh. Sara was supposed to make her debut with Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath opposite Sushant Singh Rajput, but the film ran into trouble when Kapoor and co-producers KriArj Entertainment had a disagreement over payment issues. Now, Ronnie Screwvala has taken over the project as a producer but the fresh release date for the film has still not been announced.
Simmba, which is the official remake of South flick Temper, is slated to release on December 28.
