Nagpur: Santosh Amberkar has been appointed as Director (Finance) in MSPGCL. Amberkar is graduate from Mumbai University and has done CMA in 1990. Also, he is an Associate member of ICAI since September 1993. Amberkar joined erstwhile MSEB as Accounts Officer in April 1994 and had worked in various capacities in MSEB & MSETCL for 23 years ranging from Accounts Officer to Chief General Manager (F&A).
During this tenure, he has shown his potential in Accounts, Finance, Audit and also handled Regulatory Matters, Service Tax issues, CAG Audit / PUC report compliance. He was actively involved in separation of erstwhile MSEB’s Accounts including Income Tax Matters/MERC matters pursuance to MSEB’s Restructuring in 4 entities MSEBHCL, MSPGCL, MSETCL & MSEDCL.
He was also involved in successfully migration of Accounts of MSETCL from ESAAR, 1985 to Companies Act 1956 in F.Y. 2008-09 and also handled Financial Assistance at Competitive Rate from JICA & IFC.
