Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) on Friday declared result of Chartered Accountant (CA) final year examination. Sanket Gupta has bagged the first slot in Nagpur Division by scoring 513 marks. The second spot has been taken by Mohit Jain (497 marks) while Aamir Patel stood third by bagging 469 marks.
The pass percentage of the exam, held in May-June 2014, is 14.74 which is more than the last year. Last year the percentage was 12.47.
The CA Final Year exam is conducted in two groups and a total of 8 papers are held. Students passing in both Group 1 and Group 2 become CA. In Nagpur Division, 44 students (14.96 percent) out of 294 passed the exam. In the Group 1, 114 students (13.81 percent) out of 825 passed while 97 (11.80 percent) students out of 822 passed in Group 2.
