‘Samadhan Shibir’ is best way to reach government at people’s doors: Gangwar

: “The Samadhan Shibir, a venture to reach government at people’s doors (Shasan Aaplya Dari) for resolving their various grievances, deservers appreciation. The Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis should be patted and congratulated for this venture,” Union Minister of State for Finance Santosh Gangwar said here on Tuesday.

The minister was speaking after inaugurating a 3-day ‘Mukhyamantri Samadhan Shibir’ being organized at Ishwar Deshmukh Physical Education College, Hanuman Nagar in South Nagpur. The Samadhan Shibir is for residents of Hanuman Nagar zone and is part of CM’s Samadhan Shibir to bring governmental services at the doorsteps of every citizen. The programme was presided over by MLA Sudhakar Deshmukh while MLA Sudhakar Kohale, Municipal Commissioner Shravan Hardikar, NIT Chairman Dr Deepak Mhaisekar, Corporators Sandeep Joshi, Upendra Kothekar, Ravindra Bhoyar, Dayashankar Tiwari, NIT Trustee Bhushan Shingne, CMO OSD Asha Pathan were present as chief guests.

“The Central Government, in order to bring common people into mainstream, has opened 23 crore bank accounts for them. Similarly, 28 welfare schemes have been linked with Aadhar Cards,” Gangwar stated.

South Nagpur MLA Sudhakar Kohle has informed that citizens can easily obtain Smart Cards, Aadhar Card, Domicile Certificate, Income Certificate, Senior Citizen Card, Ration Card, Driving Licence and many essential certificates and welfare services offered by various agencies. Kohale has urged people of Hanuman Nagar zone to take maximum benefit of this camp. Guardian Minister Chandrashakhar Bawankule who is personally supervising the zone-wise Samadhan Shibirs across Nagpur stated that during earlier camps held for Laxmi Nagar and Dharampeth zones, more than 12,000 applications have been decided out of around 15,000 received. From the zonal camps we are hoping to redress grievances of more than 75,000 citizens and provide them necessary certificates without any hassle, he stated.

At the outset, the Union Minister of State for Finance inspected the various stalls set up by different departments and apprised himself about the information regarding government services being offered to the citizens.

Others who were present on the occasion include Devendra Dasture, Corporators Ramesh Singare, Rashmi Fadnavis, Nadurkar, Swati Akhatkar and others.
