Sadar police booked Sonu Nigam, event manager Neerja Dharmadhikari , bishop cotton school headmistress for contravention of rules under Bombay Police Act
Nagpur News : The musical night of heart throb singer Sonu Nigam organized by Mirchi Activation ended with disappointing moods after Sadar police intervened at the live concert at Bishop Cotton School Ground on Saturday evening.

Police source informed that they have booked the singer, Event manager, Neerja Dharmadhikar, director at Innovations Solutions & Events Pvt Ltd, and Bishop Cotton School Headmistress still unknown to police, for organizing the concert without police permission.
According to the police information, sadar police has refused the permission to conduct the live concert of Sonu Nigam. However, the event manager neglected the refusal orders and conducted the show.
It has been learnt that police has charged offence of section 37 (1) with section 135 of the Bombay Police Act.
Know the Act: 37. Power to prohibit certain for prevention of disorder. (1) The Commissioner and the District Magistrate in areas under their respective charges, may whenever and for such time as he shall consider necessary for the preservation of public peace or public safety by a notification publicly promulgated or addressed to individuals, prohibit at any town, village or place or in the vicinity of any such town, village or place-
(a) the carrying of arms, cudgels, swords, spears, bludgeons, guns, knives, sticks or lathis, or any other article, which is capable of being used for causing physical violence;
