We had reported last year that actors Pooja Bhatt and Sanjay Dutt, who had starred opposite each other in 1991 film Sadak, will team up once again for the sequel and we have learned the release date of the film.
We have heard that Sadak 2, presented by Mahesh Bhatt and Vishesh Films, produced by Mukesh Bhatt, the film will be releasing on 15th November 2019. In a statement last year, Pooja had said, “We are making Sadak 2 in which we are showing Sanjay Dutt in his true and present time and we are dealing with the issue of depression in that film but we are also making a commercial film. We have to make our point and we choose films as our medium because when you choose a mainstream format, then your message goes deeper and wider.”
Loosely inspired by Martin Scorsese’s Taxi Driver starring Robert De Niro and Jodie Foster, Sadak revolved around an edgy cab-driver trying to rescue a girl from a prostitution racket.
