Nagpur: In a major success, Nagpur Rural Crime Branch traced a robber absconding since the past six years and arrested him in a swift action. The accused Ravi alias Nepali Bhupendra Chaudhary (26) had committed a robbery in 2009 and an offence was registered against him at Butibori Police Station. Since then the accused Ravi was absconding. He was hiding his identity and staying in Nagpur’s Rajiv Nagar area. The Rural Crime Branch, on the basis of a tip-off, traced Ravi and arrested him on February 1 in a swift action. The operation was carried under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Dr Arti Singh by a team of Rural Crime Branch policemen.
