Nagpur News: Department of Physical Education, RTMNU, is organizing coaching camp in Athletics, Basketball, Volleyball, Archery, Shooting and Handball at its Sports Complex from May 5, 2014.
International Athlete and Distance Runner Sharad Suryawanshi will impart training in Athletics Events to aspiring students. Similarly, International Handball player Inderjeet Singh Randhawa and Dr Lalita Awachat will coach Handball students while Chhatrapati Shivaji awardee & former State players Pankaj Deshmukh, Sonal Kavde-Deshmukh, and former Central Railway & Maharashtra player Pradeep Mukherjee will render their services in training students in Basketball. The Volleyball students will be coached by Dr Ashok Kapta, Archery students by Sanjay Kahurke and Shooting students will be trained by Anil Pande.
The camp is open to all boys and girls in age group of 8-16 years and First Year college students. The campers will also be introduced to self-defence activities of various kinds. No fees will be charged. The interested students will have to register their names with Office of Director of Physical Education, Dr Laxminarayan Campus, Near Law College Square, Ravi Nagar, Nagpur, during office hours along with two passport-sized photographs before May 1, 2014.
The timing of the camp will be from 7 am to 8 am and 5.30 pm to 7.30 pm.
