Nagpur News: The Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) had issued show-cause notice to the teachers who are boycotting the univerty exam works.
However, it seems that the teachers have thrown the university notice into the dustbin. Only a handful of professors have given reply to the notice. The university has decided to take strict action against the erring teachers.
The MFUCTO and NUTA have called a non-cooperation movement against the university to press for their various long-pending demands.
This has led to cancellation of most of the practical exams. Moreover, now it is being feared that the professors’ stir may also affect the written examinations.
Taking this issue seriously, the university administration on March 4, had issued show cause notices to the professors who are participating in the non-cooperation movement.
The notice stated that it should be replied to within 8 days after it was received.
However, only a handful of professors have replied to it. The reasons are also very lame. This shows that the professors have not taken the notice seriously.
