Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU), in a bid to correct one wrong has committed another blunder and also put LLB Fourth Semester students in terrible dilemma. RTMNU has shocked the students after declaring fresh results of two papers. Many of the students, who had earlier passed, found themselves either failed or their marks lowered.
It may be recalled, result of LLB Fourth Semester was declared on July 29. Some students got identical marks in Public International Law and Labour Law papers. Moreover, those students who had skipped the papers surprisingly were shown present and granted the same identical marks. The Controller of Examinations Dr Vilas Ramteke had termed the blunder as technical problem. Thereafter, result of LLB Fourth Semester was declared on Wednesday afresh. But, instead of providing relief to the students, the RTMNU put the students in a quandary. Many students who had earlier passed were either shown failed or granted lesser marks than earlier. This time Dr Ramteke was unavailable despite several attempts to contact him.
The aggrieved students had earlier protested inordinate delay in declaring their results stating that the exams concluded on May 20.
