Nagpur:
A city-based RTI activist has drawn attention of Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) on the tragic but sensational death of Adv Shrikant Khandalkar. The RTI activist Ankita Kamalesh Shah, in her letter to PMO, has categorically termed the death of Adv Khandalkar as murder and not the suicide as is being claimed or reported.

“Adv Khandalkar was missing for two days as per the reports. The suspicious death of a person who used to fight against Government agencies deserves a high-level inquiry to find out the exact cause of death,” said the RTI activist in the letter sent to PMO on November 29.

Ankita Shah requested the PMO to order a high-level probe into the death of Adv Khandalkar. On its part, the PMO acknowledged receipt of the letter and forwarded it to P S Meena, Additional Chief Secretary, General Administration Department, Government of Maharashtra for further course of action.
