Nagpur: A 3-day congregation of Akhil Bhartiya Pratinidhi Sabha of Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram (VKA), a unit of Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS, will he held at Reshimbagh Maidan, RSS headquarters, here in the city, from October 2 to 4, 2015.
It may be mentioned that VKA takes care of development of education among rural tribal masses. In the said event, as many as 2500 VKA-Pratinidhis (representatives) from across the country are likely to participate. The VKA in this congregation will ruminate year-long activities and churn out future plans in the welfare of tribals. This congregation is significant because there is BJP-rule in the state as well as at the Centre, and its policy, plans and various schemes need to be much popularized in the tribal belts.
In the proposed congregation, in addition to senior leaders of RSS, those who are invited to participate include Maharashtra Governor Vidyasagar Rao, Union Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister of State for Rural Development Sudarshan Bhagat, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, State Minister for Social Justice Vishnu Sawara and a host of social workers from all tribal belts.
