The amount stolen from the three ATMs collectively stands at Rs 24.53 lakh. The single-day looting rattled the Police Department at the time when entire top brass is stationed in Nagpur for Winter Session of Maharashtra Legislature. The daring heist also sent shockwaves and panic across the banking sector.

    Details are awaited.

A few days ago too, ATMs in Wardha were targeted by the miscreants. It is surmised the same gang could have been involved in the heist at three ATMs in Nagpur.
