Rs 2.09 lakh looted from recovery agent in Lakadganj

In a planned move, two unidentified people thrashed a recovering agent and snatched away a bag bearing Rs 2.09 lakh from him in Lakadganj area here on Monday. Before the agent could realize anything, the duo sped away on their Pulsar bike.

Sources said Sunal Dilip Padole (25), resident of Juni Mangalwari, Lakadganj, collected his order recovery on Monday. While he was on his way passing through the stretch between Wardhaman Nagar Square and Ambedkar Nagar, two unidentified men zoomed on a Pulsar bike from behind and hit his bike’s handle leading Sunal fell on ground. Within no time, the thieves snatched away his bag containing Rs 2.09 lakh cash and sped away. Shocked with the turn of event, the youth soon recovered and rushed to Lakadgaj police station to lodge a complaint.

On the basis of the complaint, Lakadganj police have registered an offence under sections 393 and 34 of the IPC against the waylayers.
