Nagpur: An unidentified criminal targeted the Aryodaya Honda Showroom, Amravati Road, and decamped with Rs 11.85 lakh cash and other valuables in Wadi police area in the intervening night of December 26 and 27. The burglar also tried to smash a strong box of nearby Hyundai Showroom with the intention of stealing cash but could not succeed.
The complainant, SunilLaxmi Sahay (63), resident of 401/B, Pebbles Apartment, Narmada Colony, Katol Road, works as Branch Manager at Aryodaya Honda Showroom, Kachimet, Amravati Road. Sahay told Wadi police that some unidentified burglar smashed the glass door of Showroom’s Service Section and entered the Showroom.
The criminal later broke open the lock of the cabin and decamped with cash Rs 11.85 lakh kept in the drawer of a table. The miscreant also took away hard discs of DVR worth Rs 2000. The burglar also tried to smash a strong box of nearby Hyundai Showroom with the intention of stealing cash but could not succeed.
Wadi API Ganesh Fulakwar has registered a case under Sections 454, 380, 511 of the IPC and launched a hunt to nab the burglar.
