The efforts of Nagpur police to control road accidents by various positive measures like drive against drunken driving, booking hundreds of vehicle owners for violating traffic rules etc have certainly proved short of the desired results.  The Nagpur police even launched many campaigns for creating awareness among citizens on adhering to traffic rules and regulations like “Speed thrills and kills, too”, “Better delay than never” and other measures. But the irresponsible and insensitive citizens towards traffic regulations have put themselves to accidents hazards.
