Nagpur: In a major sigh of relief, the first Omicron patient of Second Capital of the State has tested negative for the novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) on Tuesday. The male patient, with travel history of West Africa would be discharged with an advise for seven day home quarantine, sources said.
It is pertinent to mention that the man had not taken any vaccines. He was tested positive couple of days back and admitted to AIIMS Nagpur with mild symptoms of the virus borne disease.
He was negative on Tuesday evening in his 10th RTPCR swab sample. Following which the Administration here took a sigh of relief.
