Ranveer Singh, who along with Deepika Padukone won the Best On-screen Jodi of The Year award for ‘Bajirao Mastani’ at 2016 TOIFA, has given credits to his “better half” for making him look good.
While receiving the most stylish jodi award for the pair, the 30-year-old actor said, “This is for best jodi and the better half of the jodi is not here right now but I will convey your wishes to her. Like Kareena earlier said, I have the most beautiful woman by my side. Thank you everyone.” Later, taking to his Twitter handle, the actor tweeted, “Koi Shaq ?!?! thank you @deepikapadukone for always making me look good.”
Notable, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s directorial ‘Bajirao Mastani’ had won three awards for Best Cinematography, Best Art Direction and Best Costume Design. Ranveer also won the award for the Best Actor at the star-studded night, while Kangana Ranaut took home the best actress award for ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns.’ The event, hosted by Ritiesh Deshmukh and Parineeti Chopra, was held at the Dubai’s popular stadium called Dubai International Stadium Sports City and witnessed scintillating performance of Bollywood stars.
