Posting his ‘Bajirao Mastani’s thunderous outing Ranveer Singh has gone to choosy now a days in selecting the roles being offered to him.He is currently shooting for Befikre and it is learnt that he would be going nude onscreen for his character.
Now it seems rappers Yo Yo Honey Singh, Badshah and Raftaar are in for some tough competition from Bollywood star Ranveer Singh as the actor is all set to show his rapping skills in Zoya Akhtar’s next project.
If the buzz is to be believed, the actor will reportedly be playing the role of an underground rapper from Mumbai in Zoya Akhtar’s next which is tentatively titled ‘Gully Boy’. According to a leading daily, the film is inspired from real life rappers like Divine and Naezy .
Zoya and Ranveer, who have worked together in 2015 summer release, ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’, have often expressed their fondness for each other. The 30- year-old actor is currently busy shooting Aditya Chopra’s Befikre in Paris. However, nothing has been confirmed regarding this. The makers have yet to comment on the news.
