Who doesn’t want to see Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone get married one day. They have been together for over 5 years now and the fact how they admire and respect each other so much irrespective of what the world has to say about them, only proves how they are meant to be. So when a leading magazine recently carried a report stating that Ranveer and Deepika have finally planned to take the plunge by getting married this year end, we obviously couldn’t contain our excitement. I mean, isn’t it what we have all been waiting for??
When Ranveer was asked to react to these rumours in his interview with India Today, even he surprisingly didn’t deny the ‘marriage’ part but he did clarify the “December wedding” bit saying, “Really, I don’t know where that’s coming from. But, yes of course, these are things I think about. I try and create a work and life balance so as much as I consumed by my work at the moment, these things are on my mind. But, nothing decisive as of yet.” He also reasoned why he can’t think of taking a wedding break this year, as he added, “Currently, I am a little bit consumed with my work. I have got a line up of films; one that I am currently shooting. I am currently in the thick of ‘Gully Boy’, after that I have got ‘Simmba’, with Rohit Shetty and then ‘1983 World Cup’. Right now, I am just consumed by these exciting opportunities.”
It’s left to see when will Ranveer and Deepika take their relationship to the next level, considering how their work commitment has blocked their calendar. But just in case you’ve forgotten, even Anushka Sharma had a similar choc-a-bloc schedule last year, yet she quietly wrapped up her work and flew down to Italy to become Mrs Virat Kohli.
