We recently saw the teaser of Madhuri Dixit – Nene‘s Marathi debut Bucket List. The film is directed by Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar and is a slice of life film featuring the actress on self-discovery. We hear one of Madhuri’s biggest fans – Ranbir Kapoor is all set to be a part of this film. Yes, you heard it right. Though this isn’t the first time the two have worked together. In the past, the Aja Nachle actress and Jr Kapoor have collaborated for a song in Ayan Mukerji’s Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. Ghagra featuring the two became a rage thanks to their chemistry.
A source opened up about Ranbir Kapoor being a part of Bucket List while talking to Mumbai Mirror. The source said, “Ranbir is a huge Madhuri fan and when he was approached for this film he readily agreed. It is only a special appearance and he shot for it a while ago. The makers are really happy with the result.” A few years ago, when Madhuri agreed to do Ghagra, Ranbir had said that his childhood dream of working with the actress has been fulfilled as his heart only beats for Madhuri.

Madhuri will return to the big screen after a four long gap with Bucket List which will release next month. Here last film releases were Dedh Ishqia and Gulaab Gang back in 2014. Apart from the Marathi film, Madhuri will also soon work on another film which Sridevi was supposed to do earlier. After the Chandni actress’s untimely death, Janhvi announced that Madhuri will step into her shoes in an Instagram post. She wrote, “Abhishek Varman’s next film was very close to mom’s heart …Dad, Khushi and I are thankful to Madhuriji for now being a part of this beautiful film…”The film is directed by Abhishek Varman and produced by Dharma Productions.
