Rajwardhan Sinha takes charge as Joint Commissioner of Police (Nagpur City)

There was a major re-shuffle of top-cops in Nagpur city which came into effect three weeks ago. After a long wait, former Joint Commissioner of Police Anup Kumar Singh received his transfer orders. He will be taking charge in Mumbai as Joint Police Commissioner.

In his place, Joint Commissioner of Police who was In-Charge of Economic Offences Wing, Mumbai Rajwardhan Sinha took charge as Joint Police Commissioner, Nagpur City today on May 18, 2015.

With Rajwardhan Sinha taking over as Joint Commissioner, his experience of handling Economic Offences wing will come in handy to take action against the growing economic offences in the city. Sources claimed that he takes his job seriously which will result in tacking growing crime in the city.

Earlier, Rajwardhan Sinha was the Superintendent of Police in Gadchiroli too.
