Nagpur: The Nuisance Detection Squad (NDS) of the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) on Friday booked several establishments including Rajwada Palace, city’s prominent wedding destination for defying Covid norms issued by the District Administration.

According to sources, the wedding ceremony was underway at Rajwada Place where around 400-500 guest had marked there presence. The gathering were found sans masks and were not maintaining social distancing hence defying Covid norms.

It is pertinent to mention that though the cases have dropped in Nagpur, the NDS team had continued to launch a crackdown against the private establishments violating Covid norms set by the administration to contain the outbreak of the virus borne disease.
