Nagpur: The Founder President of Rajiv Gandhi Vichar Manch Anil Pande has placed his objection to the boundaries (composition) of Prabhag-4 announced for the next NMC elections.

In a complaint letter sent to District Collector Sachin Kurve, Pande has pointed out that the present Prabhag-4 comprises of 80 percent North Nagpur areas and 20 percent East Nagpur areas which is not proper and injustice to East Nagpur citizens.

“Prabhag-4 is full of unauthorized layouts. Earlier also in 2007, Mauza Vanjra-Vanjri, Kalamna (North Nagpur) and East Nagpur areas were included in Ward 4 and at that time a candidate from North Nagpur had got elected “by mistake.” This cost the citizens of East Nagpur the development. For entire five years, the situation prevailed. Hence this Prabhag should immediately be merged with Prabhag 24 and provide justice to the citizens,” Pande said in his letter.
